Natalie Jo Taylor, 63, of Oak Harbor, passed away Wednesday evening, July 15, 2015, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Natalie was born September 1, 1951, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Kenneth C. and Ona B. (Smiley) Foreman. Upon graduating from high school, Natalie began her career of caring for others first as a candy striper and then continuing as a Certified Nurses Aide and Restorative Aide. On August 1, 1970, in Carlsbad she married Richard L. Taylor and became a military wife. For the next 22 years, she worked in nursing homes from New Mexico to New Hampshire. When Richard retired in 1990, they settled in Oak Harbor and she began her 25-year career at Edgewood Manor in Port Clinton. Her many hobbies included sewing and cooking and working in her yard, especially with her garden and pond; but her special hobby was taking care of her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Richard, Natalie is survived by her daughter, Laura Jo (Matthew) Homik of Maumee and son, Richard B. Taylor of Plainview, TX, sisters, Renata Kay Jump of Oologah, OK, and Karen Regina (Johnny) LaQuey of Plainview, brothers, Charles Ray (Elaine) Foreman of Clovis, NM, and Thomas Kent Foreman of Troup, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her parents, brothers, Kerry Lynn Foreman, and Kenneth Wayne Foreman, preceded her in death. Visitation for Natalie Jo will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
