Naomi M. Davis

Naomi M. Davis, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2012 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. She was born on February 22, 1924 in Defiance, Ohio to Alice and Maynard Marckel. They moved to Toledo when Naomi was 5 years old. Naomi graduated from Libby High School in 1942 and married Charles A Davis on February 6, 1943. Charles passed away in September of 2004, after 61 years together. Also preceding Naomi in death are her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Robert M. Marckel and his wife Kay and Naomi’s companion, Wilbur J. Michalak. Surviving are her daughters; Wendy (Mike) Reinhart and Sally (Gerald) Warner; three sons, Timothy, Tom (Donita) and Charles R. (Nancy) Davis; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many friends at the Westbrook Senior Village. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, January 5, 2013. A private burial will be held at a later date at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials in Naomi’s name go to the Toledo Humane Society or the Honor Flight Society.
