Nanette J. Diemer-Long

Nanette J. Nan Diemer-Long, age 49, passed away suddenly Thursday April 5, 2012. The daughter of Milton and Norma Diemer, she was born May 14, 1962 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Sylvania Southview High School and attended the University of Toledo. Nan worked as a bookkeeper for Harold Jaffe Jewelers for 24 years and later was an assistant manager at Pier 1 for 5 years. She was very good at crafts and loved animals, especially dogs. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Norma Diemer-Burriss; brother, Michael Diemer; fiance, Jim Cooper; nieces and nephews, Rick Biddle, Kathy Biddle-Hoffmann, and Nicholas and Michael Diemer. She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Bill Diemer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where a memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm.
