Nanette J. Contat

Nanette J. Contat, age 80, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died December 20, 2024, her 80th birthday, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born December 20, 1944, in Toledo, an only-child to the late Paul and Anne (Phlegaar) Brendlen. She married Robert Contat on November 26, 1970, and they shared more than 54 years together. Robert survives. Also left to cherish Nanette’s memory is her beloved son, Corey Contat.

Nanette graduated from Macauley High School in 1962 and went on to a more than 40-year career as a hairdresser in the Toledo area. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching and especially loved sighting her favorite, the Baltimore Oriole. Nanette was intelligent, outgoing and personable and liked to serve others. She would go out of her way to help another person, and her caring and loving way will be missed.

Services will be held privately, and Nanette will be laid to rest at Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
