Nancy Thielman

NANCY JEAN (CASTLE) THIELMAN Nancy Jean (Castle) Thielman, 92, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on May 5, 1926 to Theodore and Ella Castle in Owosso, MI. She graduated from Owosso High School in 1944. In 1947, Nancy married William Thielman and was married for 71 years. In the 60’s she worked for New Neighbors League. She was a member of the Perrysburg Garden Club and Bridge Club. She was an amazing cook with a great gift for entertaining others. Her smile and infectious laughter will forever be missed. She leaves behind her loving husband, William G. Thielman; daughter, Bonnie Johnson (Lee Hendershot); sons, William G. Thielman, Jr., and David J. (Deisa) Thielman; grandchildren, Jay Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Sarah (Drew) Heidel, Natalie Frederickson, Alec (Sara) Thielman, Ian (Ashley) Thielman and eight cherished great- grandchildren. Per Nancy’s wishes, services will be private. The family wishes to send their love and gratitude to all the exceptional adoring caregivers at the Manor of Perrysburg. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A memorial service for Nancy’s life will be posted and held at a later date.
