Nancy Sattler

Nancy Ann (Cook) Sattler, age 83 years, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Maumee, Ohio to Charles and Angela (Renaux) Cook. She married Charles G. Sattler on May 18, 1957 and they shared 63 years together. Nancy was a phenomenal cook and baker; she loved creating needle work and cross stitch, working puzzles and was an avid reader. Nancy had a green thumb, and she was passionate about her african violets and peace lilies. She collected angels and decorative glass and had them displayed in her home for all to see and enjoy. Nancy will be remembered for her playful sense of humor, her charming wit, and her devotion to family; she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles; children, Kim (John) Frautschi, Lisa Simmons and John (Carla) Sattler; grandchildren, Aimee Simmons, Erik Simmons, Trevor (Briana) Sattler, Claire (Dylan) Antila and Evan Sattler; great-grandson, Edison Sattler, sister, Sherrill Sattler and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Gerald Sattler and stepbrother, Charles Cook, Jr. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 10-11 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2255 Central Grove, Toledo, Ohio 43614 with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11 A.M.
