Nancy Roman

Nancy Joyce Roman, age 74, of Manchester, MI passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1950 in St. Charles, MO to the late Ralph and the late Nancy Beebe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Mark L. Roman, and her brothers David (the late Marie) Beebe, Darrill Beebe, and Richard Beebe.

Nancy is survived by her daughters: Sherri (Simon) Pereira, Karen (Nick) Jones, Mary Beth (Karl) Smith; sons: John Roman, Stephen (Sabine) Roman; grandchildren: David Pereira, Michael Pereira, Rachel Smith, Abigail Smith, Joshua Smith, Rebekah Smith, Lily Roman, Caleb Jones. She is also survived by her brother: Jerry (Joyce) Beebe; her sisters-in-law: Connie Beebe, Darlene Jordan, Bonnie Straight; brothers-in-law: Paul (Dolores) Roman, Glenn Roman, and many more extended family members whom she loved dearly.

As a teen, her early jobs included A&W restaurant, and Ben Franklin’s Store. Later, she earned a Nursing Degree from Burge School of Nursing of Cox College in Springfield, MO. Nancy felt called by God and enjoyed becoming a full-time homemaker, and raising with her husband their five children. Nancy loved her Lord Jesus Christ, and all her family and friends. She loved to sing, read the Bible, journal, talk on the phone, and send encouraging cards to family and friends. She was a part of many church choirs over the years, taught junior high Sunday School, and supported the Sunday School class her husband taught. Her greatest desire was to love God, and spread His love to as many people as she could. She will be greatly missed.

Friends and family will be received Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH, 43460. Visitation will continue Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10- 11 a.m. at Abundant Life Assembly, 14977 Harper Rd, Somerset, MI 49281 with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at a later date in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan.
