Nancy Rayfield

NANCY FAYE RAYFIELD Nancy F. Rayfield, 81, died, Thursday, July 07, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born, May 3, 1930, in Lyons, Illinois to Hubert B. and Clara J. (Adams) Shortt, and was married on December 17, 1949 to Robert R. Rayfield who preceded her in death in April of 2003. Nancy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lesterville, Missouri, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg. Nancy is survived by her sons, R. Regan (Cheryl L. ) Rayfield of Maumee, OH and Robin R. (Stephanie) Rayfield of Delta, OH; grandchildren, Grant (Brenda), Garrett (Meghan), Ryan, Reid and Ross; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Alexis; sister, Lois Jean Peterson. Along with her husband Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carroll Lee Shortt and brother-in-law, Vernon Peterson. Friends will be received on Sunday, July 10, 2011, from 3-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Monday, July 11, 2011, at 11 A.M. with Pastor David Vinciguerra officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
