Nancy A Mitchell

Nancy A. (Poitinger) Mitchell, age 82, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Nancy was born on May 3, 1934 to Louis and Audrey (Parris) Poitinger in Toledo, Ohio. She married her beloved husband of 62 years, Richard A. Mitchell on May 1, 1954 in Monroe, Michigan and he survives. Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother and her greatest pride was raising her two sons. She enjoyed taking care of her family and home, ceramics, crocheting, camping and traveling by train. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard; sons, Michael (Denise) Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell; grandchildren, Ryan (Randee Rae), Cassandra, Amanda (Jacob) and Lindsey; great-grandson, Rhett; brother, Jack (Patricia) Poitinger and many loving nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Audrey Poitinger. Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 1:30 pm. with Pastor Rick Dushane, officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the Toledo Humane Society.
