Nancy (Mazey) Caligiuri

Nancy J. (Mazey) Caligiuri, 87, of Northwood, Ohio died peacefully Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on January 17, 1937 to Wayne Martin and Ellen Mazey. She married her sweetheart, Patrick J. Caligiuri on December 29, 1962.

Nancy worked at a drycleaner in Perrysburg as a seamstress. As a mother of five boys, she volunteered as a lunch aid and classroom aid. Nancy was a former member of the Northwood Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, and camping in her spare time. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Patrick Joseph Caligiuri; sons, Robert (Lou) Mumy, Allen Mumy, Joseph (Audrey) Caligiuri, Mark (Debbie) Caligiuri, and Brian Caligiuri; Many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; sister, Deb (Chuck) Coslett; brother, Pete (Mary) Preston; brother-in-law, Bill St. Claire; and dog, Sugar. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Preston; father, Wayne Martin; brothers, Richard Preston, Harold Preston; stepbrothers, Wayne Preston and Kenny Preston; and sister, Joyce St. Claire.

Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City RD, Rossford, Ohio on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Nancy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Heartland Hospice, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
