Nancy A. Kuck

Nancy A. Kuck, 86, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Nancy was born November 28, 1929, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of John H. and Gertrude J. (Thrun) Kurth. In 1947 she graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, OH. On June 01, 1968, in Maumee, OH, she married Edward M. Kuck and he survives. Nancy sold real estate for Ballert Real Estate Co. in Toledo, OH for 10 years. She was known as one of the Hallmark ladies for J.R.’s Hallmark Store and was a secretary for Port Lawrence Title Trust. Nancy was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Port Clinton and their altar guild member. She was a member of the 4 Seasons Garden Club, where she also held several offices in the club. Nancy enjoyed cooking and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Left to cherish her memory: Loving Husband of 47 years: Edward M. Kuck of Port Clinton; Son: Jeffrey (Jane) Smith of Toledo; Grandchildren: Pamela (Dave) Bee and Jason (April) Smith, Kim Schatz and Great-Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Faith Bee David, Cayden and Syarah Schatz. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Lynwood Moser, Imogene Cotner and grandson: David Smith. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8PM, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Father Tony Setley at 1:00PM, Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Nancy may be given to St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
