Nancy Carol Kleine passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at her home in Sylvania, just four days shy of her 91st birthday. Nancy died from Pure Autonomic Failure. She was born in Toledo to Lee and Florence (Bremer) Osgood on December 4, 1930. Nancy received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in 1952 where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Nancy taught school in California before returning to marry Albert “Bill” William Kleine, Jr. in 1953. They lived in Toledo, where Nancy taught English and Physical Education. Nancy was an avid bridge player, reader, researcher of genealogy, and golfer at Valleywood Golf Club in Swanton. She once had a hole-in-one at Ottawa Park in Toledo. She was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She will be remembered for her competitive spirit and sense of humor. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Julie (Jim) Bosse of Dayton and Laurie (Harry) Strunk of Siesta Key, FL; 4 grandsons, and 2 great-grandsons. Vaccinated guests are welcome to attend visitation on Monday, December 6, 2021, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 428 N. Erie St., Toledo at 10 a.m. where services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania. The family suggests memorials to Ohio River Valley Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), PO Box 772373, Detroit, Michigan 48277-2373.
