Nancy Lou Iagulli

Nancy Lou (Shanks) Iagulli, age 89, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence. The daughter of Lankford Ashby and Bernice Shanks, she was born August 12, 1931 in Toledo. She was a graduate of the former Burnham High School and attended Davis and Stautzenberger College. Growing up in Sylvania, she loved working and spending time at Centennial Quarry. She was a secretary for Moore Ford where she met Donald Iagulli and they married August 6, 1956. Nancy also worked for Jacboson’s where she met and made many friends. She was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church, serving on the Alter Guild, Women’s Education group and played on the bowling league. Nancy was an avid gardener and a member of Crosby Gardeners. She truly loved the outdoors and had a real love for nature. She will be remembered most for her big heart, her sincere care for others and a loving and generous mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Craig (Paula) Iagulli, Lisa (Tom) Geren, Mark Iagulli; grandchildren, Jessica Iagulli, Angelo Iagulli, Carla Iagulli, Kelsey (Zachary) Witt, Anthony Lou Geren; step granddaughter, Heather Loughner; great grandchildren, Angelica Iagulli, Rosabelle Witt; brother, Doug (Joyce) Shanks. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Donald L. Iagulli; siblings, Barb Stevens, Charlotte Skerritt and Howard Shanks. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd). Social distancing and masks will be required. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church 2201 Secor Rd Toledo, OH 43606. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
