Nancy Jean (Kelley) Hoffman, age 59, passed away on May 31, 2021. She was born on December 23, 1961, in Genoa, Ohio. Nancy graduated from Genoa High School. She was married on September 1, 1984, to Gregory J. Hoffmann. She worked at various stores at the old Woodville mall. Nancy spent many years working at the East Y, where she enjoyed being a lifeguard and giving swim lessons. Following her passion for helping others, she obtained her RN Nursing degree in March 1992. She worked at Riverside Hospital ICU-CCU. Nancy also volunteered at Heartbeat of Toledo. The biggest joy in her life was being a mother to her son, Kyle. She always enjoyed having a yard full of playing kids. She was also known to round up the neighborhood kids and take them to Summer Vacation Bible School. Nancy had a life-long and strong faith in God and his healing power. She gave her life to Jesus when she was baptized at the age of 12 at Genoa Baptist Church. She was fortunate to meet her first grandchild, Bruce Dominic before her passing. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Gregory J. Hoffmann; son, Kyle (Jennie) Hoffmann; grandson, Bruce Dominic Hoffmann; special Niece and nephew, Zach (Chelsea) Pressley and Clarissa Pressley. Many thanks and great appreciation to Nancy’s longtime aide, Melissa Blossom, for her countless hours of loving care that she provided to Nancy and the family.
