Nancy Hendrikx

Nancy Williams Hendrikx, of Perrysburg, passed away on September 24, 2014 at Swan Creek Retirement Center. She was born in Toledo on June 14, 1930, to Fern Bellinger Williams and Paul Williams and lived her early life in Maumee. Nancy graduated from Maumee High School in 1948 and attended Stephens College, Columbia, MO., DePaul University, Greencastle IN., and the University of Toledo in June, 1952, where she received a Bachelor of Education degree. She married Joe Hendrikx in October, 1952, and spent the next 28 years with The United States Air Force, American-Lincoln Corporation and Owens Corning , living in ten locations, before their return to Perrysburg in 1980. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joe and daughters, Anne of Toledo and Patricia of Lakeland, Florida. There will be no visitation. Friends may attend a memorial service which will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests gifts to the donor’s favorite charity in lieu of flowers. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank, Perrysburg, (419-874-3133).
