Nancy Jean Harris

Nancy Jean Harris, 84, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Nancy was born on August 08, 1928 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothea Buhrow Harris. Nancy worked in the accounting department of General Motors until her retirement. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Nancy enjoyed crafting, especially knitting. Survivors include: Many friends and loved ones. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Liz Haley. Nancy generously donated her body to the UT Medical Center in order to advance the knowledge of medicine to improve and save lives. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, November 16, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Nancy may be given to St. John Lutheran Church. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
