Nancy M. Flick, 82, of Martin, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was born May 2, 1935, in Luckey, Ohio, to Arthur and Almeda (Hagemeyer) Diebert. On May 15, 1954, in Angola, Indiana, Nancy married Leslie A. Flick and he preceded her in death May 2, 1984. For two years Nancy worked as a teachers aide at Genoa Schools, Allen Central Elementary, and then worked in the meat departments of Vogels IGA in Genoa and Elmore Super Valu in Elmore. Lastly she had done house cleaning for elderly people. Nancy had attended Genoa Christian Church. She had been a former member of the Christian Missionary Alliance and the Ladies Prayer Band. She loved Christian music and watched WLMB TV. Nancy especially loved taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, James (Lisa) Flick of Toledo, daughter, Jill (Allen) Scaggs of Martin; grandsons, Trenton (Sabrina) Scaggs and Jacob Flick, granddaughters, Sarah Flick, Leslie (Kara) Hellwig, Jamie (Justin) Miller and Kelly Flick, six great grandchildren; sisters, June Newman of Martin and Linda Tanner of Genoa, brothers, Frederick Diebert of Oregon and John Diebert of Genoa. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Diebert and mother, Almeda Diebert Cluckey, husband, Leslie, sister, Mildred Taylor, brothers, Denver and Walter Diebert, step father, Vern Cluckey, and special friend, Marty Halicek. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2017, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials for Nancy may be given to Genoa Christian Church, 415 Main St., P.O. Box 116, Genoa, OH 43430; or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
