Nancy A. Doney

Nancy A. Doney, 85, of Toledo, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013, in her home at West Park Place. She was born April 11, 1928, in Altoona, PA. to John and Miriam Miller. Nancy was a manager for Pennsylvania Bell, Ohio Bell and AT&T. She retired after a 35 year career. Nancy was full of life and found joy in those closest to her. She spent every moment she could with her family and close friends. From backyard BBQs to soccer games to birthday parties and graduations, she was always present. Nancy never missed an opportunity to support her family in the pursuit of their dreams. Nancys grandchildren were the light of her life. She found great enjoyment in being a part of their lives and talked about them with everyone she met. Her ability to find pure happiness in the love of those who mattered most to her will live on in the memory of her loved ones she leaves behind. Survivors include her sons, David Cindy Doney and Tim Cathy Doney; grandchildren, Kristin, Ashley, Kate, Nicholle, Kara and Allyson and her two grand dogs, Brittney and Kody. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Doney; grandson, Derek Doney; brothers, John and Jack, and sisters, Jean and Phyllis. Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 20th, from 2-8 p.m., at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue, west of Corey, where funeral services will be on Friday, June 21st, at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 River Road, Perrysburg, OH, 43551.
