Nancy Lee Chatos

Nancy Chatos, 66, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Nancy was born in Longbranch, New York, and was adopted by Buck and Gloria Buckalew, along with her brother, James. She later married Larry Chatos, and together they adopted their son, William.

Nancy pursued her education at Rutgers University, where she studied Computer Programming, and later attended Florida Atlantic University, earning a degree in Education.

Nancy was a colorful, joyful, and unique person whose personality brought happiness to those around her. Her coworkers, friends, and family will remember her for her warmth, individuality, and the joy she shared with others.

Nancy had a great love of dancing and was an active participant in many forms of dance, including Square Dancing, Round Dancing, Contra Dancing, Scottish Dancing, Clogging, and Ballet. These activities brought her great enjoyment and allowed her to share her enthusiasm and energy with many friends and fellow dancers.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all those whose lives she touched. Her vibrant spirit and love of life will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
