Nancy L. Bodi

Nancy L. Bodi, 80, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 17, 1943 at home in Oak Harbor to Isaac A. and Florence G. (Hanney) Bodi. Nancy worked for the J. Weller Co. of Oak Harbor for many years and cleaned motels in the Port Clinton before retiring. She dedicated her whole life to being a caregiver for her brothers Jack and Tommy, as well as her mom. Nancy may have appeared at times to be short tempered with people, but she had a very caring heart underneath. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting Beanie Babies, watching game shows, going to Red Lobster and taking drives with her brother, Jack and visiting Crane Creek State Park.

Nancy is survived by her siblings, Margaret Ireland, Irene (Tim) Feehan, Walter Bodi, and Robert Bodi. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant siblings, Elizabeth Bodi and Alfred Bodi, and siblings, Mary Ann Wheeler, Raymond Bodi, Roger Bodi, Norman Bodi, Betty Delmain, Dennie Bodi, Mildred Bradshaw, Tommy Bodi, and Jack Bodi.

Per Nancy’s wishes, cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH and private burial will take place in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Nancy may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
