Nancy Mary Andryc

Nancy M. Dennis Andryc age 85 of Maumee passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Maumee February 4, 1927 to Sylvester and Florence Rossbach Dennis. A graduate of Maumee High School she was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Maumee Mothers Club. Her happiest days were spent being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed baking for her family especially sugar cookies and pumpkin pie. She also enjoyed spending time in Florida with her husband after retirement. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers David and Rholand Dennis; and sister Priscilla Somers. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John; daughters Cynthia Rod Clair of Davidson, NC, Janet Bruce Colbert of Wentzville MO., Nancy Bailey of New Orleans LA., and Amy Terry Witmer of Warner NH; grandchildren John and Brian Clair, Tara Clair Gamble, Jill Broeker, Joe and Jay Stifel, Jenna Holloway, Todd and Hope Graven, Patrick Bailey and Hannah, Natalie, Tess and Luke Witmer; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-laws Barbara and Dorothy Dennis both of Maumee. Friends may visit the family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Friday from 2-8 PM where a Scripture Service will be held Friday at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
