Nancy Ann Allen

Nancy Ann Allen, 78, of Catawba Island, OH, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, OH. She was born in Toledo, OH, on June 29, 1930, the daughter of Maurice and Marie Farmer. On February 02, 1952 in Toledo, OH, she married James F. Allen and he survives. Nancy worked in retail sales for over 30 years, retiring from J. C. Pennys in Sandusky, OH. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 56 years: James F. Allen of Catawba Island, OH; Daughter: Cindy Dave Smith of Columbus, OH; Sons: Tony Mary Allen of Columbus, OH and Timothy F. Jeni Allen of Port Clinton, OH; Grandchildren: D. J. Kerry Smith, Amanda Smith, Scott Heather Smith, Donny Smith and Shannon, Kristen Eric Bowen Adams and James Allen; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Tom Janet Farmer, Dick Kathy Farmer and Mickey Claudia Farmer; Sisters: Peggy Nick Huffer, Patty Norm Harrigan and MaryLu Tom Gouttierre; Sister-in-Law: Sue Arnholter; many loving Nieces and Nephews and Special Friend: Virginia Allen. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 4-8PM, Friday, August 29, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
