Myra L. (Trowbridge) Magrum, 92, of the Marblehead-Lakeside, Ohio and formerly of Five Point Road in Perrysburg passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Otterbein North Shore in Lakeside, Ohio. Myra was born in Perrysburg, Ohio to George M. and Barbara M. (Hasel) Trowbridge and was married May 14, 1938 at St. Rose Church in Perrysburg to Paul C. Magrum who preceded her in death on January 28, 1964. Myra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed all types of needlework including crocheting, embroidering, and crewling. Myra was also an avid gardener having that special green thumb for growing anything. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Elizabeth L. Garvin of Sylvania, Marie E. (Robert) Fix of Oregon, Ruth A. (James) Gresh of Marblehead and Barbara J. (Michael) Gresh of Marblehead; eight grandchildren and Sixteen Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Myra was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Urban Trowbridge; sister, Hazel Hasel and son-in-law, J. Terrance Garvin. Friends will be received after 10 AM on Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Myra’s memory to Lakeside Fire Department or Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
