Myra A. Fry

Myra A. Roth Fry, age 92, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Sunset House. She was born on August 30, 1917 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Gregor and Ada Foerst Roth. Myra worked at South Western Publishing in Cincinnati. She was very active at Norwood English Lutheran Church where she married Robert E. Fry in 1940. After their wedding they moved to Toledo. Myra was a member of Hope Lutheran Church for 70 years where she belonged to the Altar Guild, the Hope Guild and lunches with Luther. She delivered Mobile Meals, was a member of St. Lukes Hospital Auxiliary Team #8 and volunteer at Toledo Red Cross. Myra is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Richard Yonker; daughter-in-law, Joyce M. Fry; grandchildren, Mark Michelle Fry, Kristen Dan Grosschedl, Virginia Ken Kropac, Donald Luba Fry & Timothy Fry and great-grandchildren, Daniel Fry and Dale Fry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sons, Ronald and Leonard, and daughter-in-law, Kathleen. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania, west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 2201 Secor Rd. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
