Myra “Mickey” R. Bass, 71, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Friday, July 07, 2017 at Cleveland University Hospital, Cleveland, OH. She was born on May 17, 1946 in Toledo, OH to Douglas and Martha (Bass) Cutcher. Mickey worked most recently as a deli clerk for Community Markets in Port Clinton and previously as a certified nursing assistant in healthcare for 35 years including Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor and several in the Dayton, OH area. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Port Clinton, life member of V.F.W. in Port Clinton, and AmVets, which she served on the board for several years. Mickey was an avid reader. She enjoyed her cat “Noey”, and she especially loved her family. Mickey is survived by her sons, Kenny (Natalie Hay) Bass, Randy (Kandy) Bass, and James T. (Robin McKelvy) Pence, Jr., 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, siblings, Cathleen (Jack) Bodnar, Stanley (Joan) Cutcher, Joseph (Delma) Cutcher, Brenda Rollins, Anita (Dennis Wadsworth) Brecht, and Derrick (Debra) Horn, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, T. Horn, sons, Christopher & LeRoy Bass, and brother, Daniel Cutcher. A celebration of life service for Mickey will be held from 1-5 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 219 Madison Street, Port Clinton. Please feel free to bring your favorite photos or funny stories to share. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in care of the family to assist with funeral expenses.
