Morgan A. Lawrence, JD, MBA, age 69, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away Monday, May 15, 2018 with family by her side. She was born in Wilmette, IL on January 27th 1949 to Richard and Jacqueline nee Michalsen LaPat. Morgan received her Bachelor of Arts from Chatham College, her MBA degree from Roosevelt University and Law Degree from the University of Toledo. She was married to Dr. Edmund P. Lawrence, Jr. on July 10th, 1971. Morgan was a woman of many talents. She was a publisher, writer, entrepreneur and practicing attorney with a keen sense of humor. Among her notable accomplishments, Morgan was a true patron of the arts. She supported both local and national emerging artists through her Space 237 Art Gallery in downtown Toledo. Morgan exuded positivity, championed the underdog, and was feared for her black belt in verbal karate. She loved ice hockey, her pet dogs and most of all, her partner in life, Edmund. Morgan is survived by her son, Maximillian; sisters, Mary Grattendick and Laurie Polasko; brothers Michael, Robert, William and Thomas LaPat and her motherJacqueline LaPat. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home of Perrysburg, OH. A service will be held at a future date.
