Monty K. Anderson

Monty K. Anderson, 63, of Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio, passed away comfortably at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Born in Orange County, California, on September 30, 1961, Monty was the son of the late Harold and Virginia (Walters) Anderson. He was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting, camping, and fishing. Monty had a deep connection to nature, which was reflected in his work as both a construction worker and a commercial fisherman for Sassy Sal Charters in Port Clinton.

Monty’s greatest pride, however, was his family. He loved them with all his heart and made sure to show his love through his actions. A dedicated and resilient individual, Monty celebrated an incredible 26 years of sobriety up to his passing, a testament to his strength and commitment to his personal growth.

He is survived by his four brothers and their spouses, and was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, there will be no services at this time, and cremation will take place.

Monty will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for the outdoors, his dedication to his family, and his remarkable journey to sobriety will be remembered with great fondness.
