Molly Ann Carpenter

Molly Ann Hess Carpenter, age 61 of Maumee, OH, left this world on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 to be with god in heaven. She was born in Toledo on March 21, 1960, Charles J. and Jane A. (Weller) Hess.

Molly lived her life surrounded by friends and family who she adored. As an eternal student of the world, her thirst to know more never stopped. She loved travel, art and music but mostly spent her time helping others and lending her heart and ears to anyone in need. Molly saw life through a lens focused on kindness, peace, love, joy, and laughter. Her free spirit gave her the ability to live a full and happy life. Aunt Molly lived for her husband, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Molly is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John “Jack” Carpenter; her two loved fur babies, Dodger and Callie; sister, Camela (Steve) Nitschke; brothers, Stephen (Dana) Hess, Dave (Mary Yark) Hess, and Charles (Becky Wagner) Hess; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Charles Hess and nephew, Jason Hess.

Friends and family will be received at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, OH on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 11:30 AM until the time of Mass at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow at St. Rose Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Humane Society or Good Grief of Northwest Ohio.
