Miriam (Wainer) Foreman 86, of Olympia, WA and formerly Oak Harbor, OH passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Edgewood Care Home in Olympia, WA with the support of Hospice. She was born on January 23, 1934 in Detroit, MI to George Wainer and Eva (Bora) Wainer Updegraff. She married William Foreman on September 11, 1950. William preceded her in death on June 26, 1978. Miriam was a stay-at-home mother for several years. Later, she was employed as an operator with the Bell Telephone Company, credit manager with Sears, bookkeeper for Kilmer Lumber Company, bookkeeper for WOSE Radio Station, sales representative for Olan Mills and retired from Banner Mattress as a sales consultant in 1999. She owned Suburban Ceramics out of her home where she taught the art of ceramics and china painting. She loved playing cards, china and watercolor painting, bowling, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Susan (Mark) Novak of Ocean Shores, WA, and Patricia (Barry) Beezub of Commerce City, CO. Miriam had 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Raymond) Chin, Lori Fairhart, Michelle Novak, Dusty Beezub and Derek Beezub. She had 4 great grandchildren, Devin Fairhart, Madison Fairhart, William Chin and Evan Chin. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Foreman September 21, 1989. Graveside services for Miriam will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
