Mina F Rickard

Mina (Henz) Rickard, 95, of Toledo, passed away on July 23, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1931, in Ravolzhausen , Germany. It was in Germany that she met Charles Rickard while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They were married on January 29, 1953, and made their home in Toledo, Ohio, where they raised their son, Christopher. Although she made Ohio her home, she never lost her German accent.

Mina and Charles were blessed with one grandson, Bradley, and one great-granddaughter, Adriah. They were longtime members of Trinity Lutheran Church on Glendale Avenue. Mina enjoyed taking walks through the neighborhood and visiting with her neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Chris) Rickard of Northwood, Ohio; her grandson, Bradley (Meagan) Rickard of Heath, Ohio; and her great-granddaughter, Adriah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 12 siblings, and her beloved husband, Charles.

Private services will be held by the family.
