Mildred L. Wood

Mildred L. Wood, age 85, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 28, 1929 in Toledo to the late William and Mildred (Tennyson) Keefe. Mildred was employed with Kaiser Aluminum for many years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed garage sales, antiquing and working in her garden but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially on special occasions. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Henry L. Rose (Sandra), Colleen S. Willhauck (Jim Eckhart) and Robert W. Rose (Kathy); brothers, Louis Keefe of Toledo and Donald Keefe of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; and her beloved dog, Mandy. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert J. Wood; son, Sean J. Wood; and daughter, Cheryl L. Misch. Services will be private. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, especially nurse Colleen, for their tender care of Mildred. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
