Mildred M. Perry

Mildred M. Perry passed away December 10, 2011 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital at the age of 86. She lived at Kingston Residence of Sylvania for the past 15 months. Mildred was born April 27, 1925 in Defiance, Ohio to the late William and Freda Fricke Wolfrum and was a 1944 graduate of Defiance High School. She married Raymond Perry in 1971 who passed away in 1972. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wolfrum Baker; brother, Richard Wolfrum; nephew, James Wolfrum; and niece, Martha Wolfrum. Mildred worked at St. Vincents Hospital in the cafeteria for 34 years retiring in 1987 then worked at Wendys for 18 years. In 2006, she volunteered at Mercy St. Anne Hospital in the cafeteria until July 2010. Surviving are her nieces, Sharon Louis Masney of Sylvania, Kathleen Michael Betley of Lambertville, MI; nephew, Jack Cynthia Holt of Toledo; stepchildren including James Bernice Perry of Aurora, IL; cousin, Leann Bohn of Defiance, David Joyce Wolfrum of Omaha, AK; 15 great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Cheryl Goolsby. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Rd., where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011.
