Mildred L Millie Mcnamara

Mildred L. “Millie” (Brooks) (Thrush) McNamara, 92, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born in Dixon, TN to John and Rosie (Weemes) Brooks on September 16, 1925. She worked various jobs over the years, including custodial work at Penta and the Perrysburg High School. She was a member of the Waterville First Presbyterian Church and loved shopping. Millie enjoyed hunting for treasures at garage sales and bowling. She is survived by her grandsons, James Luallen, Joss (Stacey) Luallen; great-grandson, Hunter Luallen; step-grandson, Alexander Morlock; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ervel Thrush, Dennis J. “Mac” McNamara; son, Dennis Thrush; daughter, Diana Luallen; and three brothers. Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg (419-874-3133) from 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 8 at 10:00 A.M. burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
