Mildred “June” King, age 91 of Toledo, stepped into the lord’s arms January 25, 2021 at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, Texas. She was born June 26, 1929 in Meigs County, Tennessee to Rollo and Ersa (Freeman) McClanahan. A devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and Christian. She was employed by the Libby glass company for many years. She loved to travel, visiting many different countries but her favorite location was Hawaii. June is preceded in death by her husband Charles (Charlie) Leonard King, brothers Bobbie McClanahan and Charles McClanahan, Sister Peggy Gray and grandchild Kimberly Douglas. She is survived by her sister-in-law Francis McClanahan, Children David King, Debra (Wesley) Ingle, Karen Douglas, Charles King Jr., and Kelly (Arthur) Cox, 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests Sunday February 7, 2021 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Homes, 5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH. Funeral Services will begin Monday February 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Cemetery.
