Mildred M. Forss

Mildred M. Forss, 75, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born on June 6, 1933 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Leland and Emma Branum Bell. On August 26, 1953 in Marquette, MI, she married Henry Forss and he preceded her in death on March 01, 1993. Mildred worked as a laborer for Philco and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Priscilla Circle, Port Clinton, OH. Mildred enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She made several baby quilts. Mildred will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Vickey David Greer of Kettlersville, OH and Bonnie James Stroupe of Port Clinton, OH; 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her: parents, husband, son: James Forss, daughters: Susan Forss and Caroline Forss, infant son, sister: Doris Lowery, brothers: James Bell, Edward Bell, Leland Bud Bell and Donald Bell. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM, Sunday, April 5, 2009, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor James Lehman, at 10:30AM, Monday, April 6, 2009 in St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
