Mildred E. Fiebelkorn

Mildred E. Fiebelkorn, 79, of Sun City Center, Florida, and formerly of Genoa, died in her residence Saturday, March 8, 2008. She was born February 7, 1929, in Martin, Ohio, to Andrew C. and Elizabeth A. Swartz Anthony. On October 6, 1951, at St. Johns UCC in Genoa she married Leonard G. Fiebelkorn, who preceded her in death in 2004. Mildred worked as a clerk typist for the Erie Army Depot in Port Clinton, Ohio, during the 1950s and 60s and then for the Defense Construction Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio, retiring in 1976. She was a former member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Genoa and became a member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Apollo Beach, Florida. Mildred is survived by her sister, Margaret E. Schudel of Toledo and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at Clay Township Cemetery in Genoa at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2008. There will be no visitation. Memorials for Mildred may be directed to the building fund at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5309 N. US Highway 41, Apollo Beach, FL 33572. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa, has assisted the family with arrangements.
