Mildred L. Bieber

Toledo native, Mildred L. Bieber passed away on June 8, 2010, at the age of 94 in Temecula, CA, where she resided with her daughter, Charlotte Gust. She was born September 30, 1915 to the late Margaret nee Wimminauer and Charles Zollars. Mildred was a loving, generous and hard working woman who lived a long, healthy and active life. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her and loved her. Mildred is survived by her two children, Charlotte Gust Jim, of Temecula, CA and Robert Bieber Johnette, of Holland, OH; four grandchildren, Kim Minarich Pete, of Naples, FL, Mark Rodgers, of Ft. Myers, FL, Stace Bieber Jeanette and Adam Bieber Michelle of Sylvania, OH; eight great grandchildren, Danielle Holimon Paul, of Naples, FL, Benjamin Keister, of Silver Lake, NH, Eric Rodgers, of Fort Myers, FL, Jennifer Rodgers, of Orlando, FL, Joanna Rodgers, of Cape Coral, FL, Ani Bieber, Trent Bieber, and William Bieber, of Sylvania, OH; and one great, great grandson, Zane Holimon, of Naples, FL. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her dearly loved brother, Leonard Zollars. Mildred retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH, in 1979 after 24 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of the Collingwood Chapter of Eastern Stars in Toledo, OH and served as its worthy matron in 1966. Mildred was a member of the Womans Auxiliary in Delta, OH as well as the Vineyard Valley Womans Club in Temecula, CA. Mildred took great pride in her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved traveling, especially ocean cruises. She is especially grateful to her daughter, Charlotte, for taking care of her and being her daily companion during recent years. Visitation will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Thybault officiating.
