Mildred E. Behm

Mildred E. Behm, 83, of Maumee, OH passed away Thursday, February 07, 2008 in the Swan Creek Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 28, 1924 in Athens, TN to Walter and Nessie McCloud. Mildred worked as a Secretary for France Stone from 1943-1950. She also volunteered as a Secretary Assistant for First Presbyterian Church in Maumee in the 1970s. Mildred was a member of the Northern Light Lodge Eastern Star from 1950 to the present, Beta Sigma Phi Business Sorority with Stautzenberger College, Seed and Sew Garden Club, and Elder and member of Session at First Presbyterian Church, Maumee. She enjoyed sewing, flower arranging, mission work and solitaire. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Mildred will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The widow of Harold Behm, Mildred is survived by her loving family; daughters, Denise Getzinger and Janet Farless; grandchildren, Heidi Farless, Heather Jared Simok and Todd Farless; great-grandchildren, Lily and Logan Simok; brother, John R. McCloud. In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Mentz. Family and friends may visit Monday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m..
