Michelle Gottschalk-Kosmatka

Michelle Shelly Gottschalk-Kosmatka, 31, of Maumee, OH passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 2, 2009 in her home. She was born March 18, 1977 in Sylvania, OH to Jerry and Vickie Felkey Gottschalk. Shelly was a 1995 graduate of Maumee High School and received her Bachelors of Education from Bowling Green State University. She was employed by Toledo Public Schools and was a gymnastics coach for the YMCA. Shelly enjoyed arts and crafts. A loving daughter, wife, sister and friend, Shelly will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Shelly is survived by her husband, Steven Kosmatka; parents, Jerry and Vickie Gottschalk; brothers, Alvin Jay Kasey Gottschalk and Jeremy Gottschalk; mother-in-law, Joyce Kosmatka and two nephews and a niece. Family and friends may visit Monday from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
