Michelle Rene Rosie Newton Caldwell

On Friday, March 25, 2016, Michelle Rene “Rosie” (Newton) Caldwell , of Port Clinton, took flight on the backs of angels. She was born on September 4, 1965 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Oretha Faye (Sumpter) Armendariz and Joseph Santos Newton. Michelle was a kind, loving, compassionate, hard working soul, who was there to help anyone in need, even the animals. She had a smile that could light up a room and a deep laugh that was contagious. Michelle loved the summertime, shorts and combat boots. She had an immeasurable amount of love for her family and devoted to her children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughters: Sierra Rene Caldwell, Courtney Nicole Caldwell and Shelby Rose Caldwell; Step-Father: Wes Armendariz; Grandchildren: Peyton Anthony Streacker and Deklen Michael Irvin; Sisters: Deborah Saylers, Joanne Jannke & Christina Armendariz; Brothers: Fernando Leonel Gonzales, Joseph Newton & Jeffrey Newton. Michelle was preceded in death by her husband: Michael Caldwell and parents: Oretha Armendariz and Joseph Newton. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 02, 2016 in Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Michelle, may be given in care of the family.
