Micheline Bruyneel Farrow

Micheline B. Farrow, 79, of Catawba Island, passed away, Monday, January 29, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, Ohio. Micheline was born in Ketschendorf, Germany on April 16, 1944, the oldest daughter of Albert and Weronika (Szymeszek) Bruynell.

After her graduation she worked for the U.S. Armed forces – Air Force station in Chateauroux, France. In June of 1966 Micheline came to America on the S.S. United States and after visiting the USA from New York to California, she arrived at Catawba Island in March of 1968. Micheline helped develop Harbor Park Marina with her ex-husband and his grandfather and later worked for Jadwisiak Realty and Tri County Appraisals.

Micheline is survived by her daughter Soraya Justice and her husband, Ronald, of Madison, WI, her very much-loved granddaughter, Veronika “Rocky” Justice of Boone, NC, sister, Juliana Martin, nieces, Cecilia Martin and Michelle Nadison and nephew, Michael Nadison. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jeannine Bruyneel of Paris France, and her nephew, Michael Nadison.

Visitation for Micheline will be held from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, Ohio. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 3620 E. State Road, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
