Michael Lewis Wheeler Sr., 60, of Port Clinton, died March 14, 2017 at UTMC surrounded by loving family. He was born September 14, 1956 in Port Clinton. He worked for Fenner Dunlop for 20+ years, previously at Standard Products and was a commercial fisherman. Mike was loved by all who knew him, he never met a stranger. Mike spent every chance he was given with his family enjoying cookouts, sports, school functions, drive in movies, and swimming. He lived for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith (Phillips) Wheeler, Port Clinton; three sons and daughter, Michael (Angela) Wheeler Jr., James (Norma) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, and Michelle Wheeler, all of Port Clinton; 23 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, William Wheeler Jr., Frank Wheeler Sr., and Clifford Wheeler Sr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents; William and Mary Ann Wheeler Sr.; brother, Richard Wheeler Sr.; nephew, Jason Michael Wheeler; and great granddaughter Alexa Danielle Knoth. Visitation will be 12:30 to 3:00PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service at 3:00PM. Interment will be private in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
