Michael Silva

Michael Silva, 55, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, November 10, 2014 at his residence. Michael was born on July 13, 1959 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Nicolas and Beatrice (Flores) Silva. He worked 27 years for Masonry Construction Co., in Port Clinton.. Michael was a mason carpenter by trade. He was a mechanic and loved to fix things. Michael was a talented guitarist and enjoyed helping others. He always put his children before himself. Michael will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Daisy Mae Silva; Son Dustin Michael (Mercede Millhouse) Silva; 1 Grandchild on the way; Siblings: Barb Slomsky, Nick Silva, David Silva, Lupe Silva, Patty (David Ihnat) Fletcher; Former Wife: Betty Ohm; many loving Nieces, Nephews, Great Friends and his Masonry Construction family. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Art Silva and sister: Susie Silva. Friends may call from 2-4 6-8pm, Friday, November 14, 2014 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
