Michael Save

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, and grandfather, Michael (Mike) J. Save, who left us far too soon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 73. He brought immeasurable joy and laughter into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, generosity, and boundless energy.

At the age of 16, Mike began his career in carpentry, a trade he dedicated his entire life to. He was highly respected in his craft and admired by his peers for his skill and dedication. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and was an avid golfer, often spending time on the course with family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Jane Save, son-in-law, Jim Petas. He is survived by his three children: Tobey Petas, Thad (Heather) Save, Rodney (Brandy) Save; his grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Claire, Tanner, and Anika; his siblings Cindy (Rick) Rogers, Debbie (Bob) Harris, Dan (Becky) Save, Becky (Tim) Hague, as well as several nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at 4516 Indian Road, Ottawa Hills, OH 43615.
