Michael Francis Prosser, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Fremont, Ohio, to Francis and Marie Prosser, Mike lived a life defined by love, hard work, and deep commitment to family and community.

Mike earned degrees in engineering and devoted his career to building and design. His work left a lasting mark on Catawba Island and Marblehead through numerous development projects, and in later years, he poured his talents into designing private homes on Catawba; homes that reflected his vision and care.

Mike cherished time with family above all else. He looked forward to trips to Florida. Mike was an avid supporter of Ohio State football. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking, passions often shared with those he loved most.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer; his children Danny (Nicole) Prosser, Morgan (Nick) Ciacelli, and Jared Prosser; and his adored grandchildren, Jemma and Emelia. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Smith, and brother, John Prosser. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marie, and his treasured son, Jake.

Mike’s legacy lives on in the homes he built, the memories he created, and the family he cherished so fiercely. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and lessons he shared will endure in the lives of all who knew him.
