Michael J Peitz

Michael Peitz, age 52, of Monclova passed away on January 24, 2015. Michael was born in Detroit on May 5, 1962 to Thomas & Grace (Ventimiglia) Peitz, Sr. He married Laura Spencer in Toledo on October 3, 1987. A 1980 graduate of Bedford H. S. he was a 22 year US Army and National Guard Veteran. Michael worked for The Anderson’s since 1988, most currently in the Rail Division. Mike enjoyed working on and showing his 1966 Impala SS. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, golfing, yard-work and was a movie buff. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his loving wife, Laura; son Eric Peitz; daughter, Alexis Peitz; siblings, Thomas (Mary) Peitz, Jr.; Anne Marie (Pete) Moceri; Timothy (Kelly) Peitz; Mary Beth (Mark) Hetrick; Jennifer (Paul) Roberts; parents, Thomas & Grace Peitz, Sr.; father-in-law, Raymond Sjpencer and nieces, Tori; Teresa and Krystina. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Peitz and mother-in-law, Marilyn Spencer. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-8 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at the Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Road, Monclova, Ohio on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11 am. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
