Michael L. Payden

Michael L. Payden, 57, of Northwood, OH passed away on Sept. 24, 2016 at St. Charles Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1959 to Don and Kathyrn (Persons) Payden in Oregon, Ohio. Michael retired as a track inspector for CSX Railroad with over 35 years of service. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and a graduate of Clay Highschool. Michael enjoyed music, hockey, baseball and other sports. He was an avid Civil War reinactor and a huge fan of Peter Framton. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa A. (Yarad) Payden; children, Michael (Jessica) Payden, Courtney (Kurt) Sabo and Mara Payden; grandchildren, Katie Sabo, Luke payden and Gayin Sabo; father, Don and brother, Jeff (Susan) Payden and is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00pm with with services beginning at 7:30pm at the Hoeflinger-Bolander funeral home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church.
