Michael Pawlak

Michael T. Pawlak, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away in Maumee, Ohio on April 20, 2013. He was born in Natrona Heights, PA, and raised in Alliance, Ohio to Joseph and Virginia Pawlak on July 31, 1951. Michael graduated from Alliance High School in 1969. He married the former Darlene Peppel on November 20, 1971, and they were married for 41 years. Michael was a press operator for Transue & Williams in Alliance, Ohio. He enjoyed wood-working, trains, cooking, reading, and was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed coaching youth sports, and spending precious time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, sons Christopher Kristi Pawlak, and Matthew Scott Erin Pawlak, and 2 grandchildren, Garek and Celestyn. Also surviving are his brother, Edmond Joan, Gerald Bernie, and sister, Jacqueline Joseph Robinson. A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Additional services will be on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Marlboro Christian Church, 9383 Edison Street, Marlboro, Ohio.
