Michael Joseph May

Michael “Mike” Joseph May, Sr., 50, of Perrysburg, Ohio died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home. He was born in Akron, Ohio on August 5, 1967 to Robert Lemar and Joyce Ann (Goodyear) May. He married his sweetheart, Christina M. Pesa in Baltimore, Maryland on August 16, 2001. Mike was a member of Cedar Creek Church in Perrysburg. He was a family man who loved spending time with his wife and enjoyed watching his sons events; Kenneth in the Perrysburg High School Marching band and Michael, Jr. play baseball for the Perrysburg Jackets. He enjoyed gardening, classic cars and loved listening to Elvis. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Christina M. May; sons, Kenneth M. May and Michael J. May, Jr.; siblings, Gregory (Maryanne) May, Julie (Sean) Irvin; sisters-in-law, Joanie May, Regina Melkonian; brother-in-law, Robert (Kristen) Pesa; parents-in-law, Kenneth (Tina) Pesa, Judy Carnivale; niece, Michelle (Dave) Coup; nephews, Brian May, Alek Melkonian, Armen Melkonian; and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert L. May, II. Friends will be received on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
