Michael Laughlin

Michael Lee Laughlin, 53, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on July 15, 2025. Born on August 29, 1971, in Toledo, Mike was the son of William and Beverly (Allen) Laughlin.

Mike graduated from Southview High School and spent the last decade working as a truck driver for CMAC Transportation. He also served as a driver trainer, helping new drivers learn the ropes with patience and skill. Known for being mechanically inclined and tech-savvy, Mike could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand. He also had a passion for history.

He had a deep appreciation for horror movies and built an impressive collection of memorabilia over the years. His love for the genre was something he enjoyed sharing with others; especially his niece Tori. At home, he found comfort in the company of his two cats, Angel and Sparky.

Mike is survived by his sister, Karen Davis; nieces and nephews: JR (Andrea) Davis, Tori Davis, Jordan Davis, Jared Davis, and Michael Stark; grandnieces and grandnephews: McKenna, Domonic, Austin, Hunter, Liam, Kai, and Jasper; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Beverly Laughlin.

Memorials can be made in Mike’s name to the American Heart Association, Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter, or the Toledo Animal Rescue. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Toledo Memorial Park at 1 pm. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet behind the cemetery office at 12:45 pm.
